The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Manager with a strong background in TikTok, influencer marketing, and public relations to join our boutique advertising agency. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working in advertising, with a proven track record of managing successful campaigns in the digital and social space, but also has experience working in more traditional mediums like Television, Print and Out-Of-Home. Experience in public relations and partnerships is a huge plus. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing the Project Management team, and acting as liaison with internal and client partners to ensure the successful delivery of projects and campaigns.
This role can be remote, with Pacific Standard Time preferred as our studio is located in Sacramento, California.
Responsibilities
Manage client relationships and serve as the main point of contact for all client communication.
Manage communication with client and internal partners relevant to the campaigns/projects
Assist in the development and implementation of advertising campaigns across multiple mediums, including print, digital, and social media, with a special emphasis on TikTok and influencer marketing
Collaborate with creative and production teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects
Work with Project Manager to create and manage project timelines and milestones
Work with Producer to create and manage project budgets & expenses Analyze campaign performance and provide regular reporting to clients
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of clients' businesses, industries, and marketing goals
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing clients
What you need to be great in this role:
5+ years of experience in advertising, with experience in Advertising Campaigns across all mediums, including television, print, digital and social media.
Strong preference will be given to individuals who have experience in TikTok and Instagram, as well as public relations and partnerships
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience analyzing campaign and project performance and providing regular reporting to clients
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and remotely, with a strong work ethic and self-motivation

As a lead member of CHANNELs strategy team, you will be responsible for platform strategy, paid social strategy and campaign management for clients across a variety of social platforms with a heavy focus on TIkTok. You will oversee platform media planning (including audience targeting, ad formats, and bid management). With your expert knowledge of the emerging landscapes on TikTok and the evolution of social behaviors, you will keep internal leadership, creative, and brand teams educated on emerging trends, conversations in culture and technologies. You will be able to shape brands on social through, creative ideation, developing targeting plan, Paid media budget recommendations, launching campaigns, optimizing ads based on KPIs, reporting on campaign metrics, and providing actionable recommendations for improving performance on an ongoing basis. In addition to dedicated experience across paid social platforms, a big plus (but not necessary) is that candidates have some working strategy and paid media experience beyond social.
